AESB Meets with SEP Beneficiaries
Administrator Edita S. Bueno, Manager Ana Rosa D. Papa and DOE Undersecretary Josefina Patricia A. Magpale-Asirit personally met with the member-consumers benefitted by the Sitio Electrification Program in the Community of Calungonan in Dalayap, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental on June 1, 2012.
Administrator Bueno speaks before the SEP beneficiaries in the Community of Calungonan.
Seventy-five households were benefitted by the SEP in Calungonan, through the efforts of Misamis Oriental I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MORESCO I).
In a program prepared by MORESCO I, beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and joy for finally having electricity in their community. The program was highlighted by the raffle of three television sets for the beneficiaries. The children and the elders likewise prepared special numbers for the visitors.
"It is very fulfilling to see the happy the faces of our fellow Filipinos in the rural areas after having their homes lighted through the Rural Electrification Program. Knowing that we have made a difference in their lives and that we have provided the younger generations with a better future through the availability of electricity makes us more inspired and motivated to work harder to be able to do the same to every Filipino", said Administrator Bueno.
